Yggdrasil, however, indicates the existence of nine worlds, and triangles in Valknut only three. But every triangle has three vertices. Thus, all nine peaks - this is worlds of the World Tree. Nine - the number of magic. Nine - the number of cycles, rebirth and destruction, the beginning and end. Nine months pass from the beginning of spring - the origin of life, before the start of winter - death.
Valknut symbolizes not only the unity of the nine separate worlds, and their interlocking means being able to transition from one world to another, the metamorphosis of the body, soul and spirit from one state to another.
